My new years resolution

My new years resolution is too do more bo staff drills.

Well, I worked with three people in the morning for an hour. Then I worked with some people for a half an hour after the empty hand class. Went over esrima stuff, and bo staff forms. I was harder in the half an hour because some people would be going for a test.

I think it would be easier too have one class. I think it's going to be at 11:30. More people can come. So far more of the kids have come too the class.

sparring and escrima kubato

There was a large sparring class tonight. We did fast rounds since there was so many people. There was a young lady who was from a taikwondo school, who was job shadowing.

Escrima kubato, went over the nunchakau form, with Bruce, and escrima siniwali's.

kids class

Well, I read the class another action principle again last night while the kids were mediating. The other instructor told me, that kind of stuff goes over there heads. But it goes into the subconscious. He said it's our job too plant the seed.

I checked stripes, and worked with statue of the crane, with a couple of kids. Tried giving more material out. The main thing I hope is that they learn too keep there had on guard. It's a very simple thing but it's very important.

Well, tonight we did different combinations together one after each other. Then we would each get two minutes too do what we wanted with the class. Then we did rings of fire.
