workman skit

So I got to weapons class late. We did some laps with our bo staffs, then we did some laps with our escrima sticks. What we would do is kneel down hit to one side, then hit the other then put them up in the air. It was quite a workout.

Then we put one stick behind us, and did bo staff forms. Then we did some empty hand forms with the escrima sticks. Then we did some 8 strikes, one handed both hands, backwards, with both sticks at one angle.

Then we partnered up and did escrima counts I thought we did well. Well, they had me and another brown belt lead. Well, so we had them move around. Then we did this thing we moved around in rotated in partners together.

Then we broke off into two groups. I was originally thinking we would do the count altogether and rotate but the group wanted to do something else. Basically one person was in the center and they would do the rotate doing the count to another person on the outside. Then when it was time to switch another person they would rotate to the outside, and the new person would rotate to the center. For a close we bowed did a twirl and kneed down.

The other group, did this thing where they were in a line, where two people would do a siliwali count. Then one person would switch to the person behind them and the other person would rotate. It was alright.

For class, we did five laps, then we did a bunch of cardio exercises like running in place bunny hops, bear crawls, and mountain climbers. Then we did the lotus palm breathing technique. Then we worked on a skit. My group eventually did this skit where we were construction workers that had poured a new slab. Then when the boss was turned me and this other wrote out names in the cement (in the skit) while the other guy was cleaning up the tools. We used some bricks for trowels, and put up some cones. Then we threw a fit, in the skit. We were trying to emphasis character.

Then we did a ring of fire but we had to watch out since people were injured. We just did overhead club techniques though. Then they mentioned about the blackbelt service project. We'll see how it turns out.
